STONEWELL Inc. ( “STONEWELL”) hereby declares the following basic policy to prevent harm caused by antisocial forces—groups or individuals that pursue economic gain through violence, intimidation, and fraudulent means (hereinafter referred to as “antisocial forces”). All executives and employees will strive to ensure the appropriateness and safety of our business operations by adhering to this policy.
Organizational Response
STONEWELL will respond as an organization to prevent harm caused by antisocial forces. Furthermore, we will ensure the safety of our officers and employees in the face of unreasonable demands.
Cooperation with External Specialized Agencies
With regard to the exclusion of antisocial forces, STONEWELL will maintain close cooperative relationships with relevant external agencies, such as the police, the Center for the Promotion of the Movement to Eradicate Violence, and attorneys, on a regular basis. We are committed to working to exclude antisocial forces.
Cutting Off All Relations, Including Business Transactions
STONEWELL will not engage in any business transactions or contracts (hereinafter referred to as “transactions”) with antisocial forces. Furthermore, if it is discovered that a party with whom STONEWELL is already conducting business is an antisocial force, STONEWELL will promptly take appropriate measures to terminate the business relationship.
Civil and Criminal Legal Responses in the Event of an Incident
We will not comply with any unreasonable demands made by antisocial forces. If an unreasonable demand by antisocial forces is identified, we will take legal action in civil, criminal, or both civil and criminal courts.
Prohibition of Under-the-Table Deals and Financial Support
We will not engage in any under-the-table deals with antisocial forces, nor will we provide any financial support to them.
